Management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, (FUTO) has announced the release of the 2024/2025 academic session admission list. Candidates that took part in the FUTO Post UTME screening exercise can now check their admission status.

Admission lists are usually released by institutions after the conduct of admission screening exercise, it comes in different batches; 1st Batch is (Merit List) followed by 2nd, 3rd and other Batches.

FUTO admission list that contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into the various undergraduate programmes of the university for the 2024/2025 academic session has been successfully uploaded online.

Alternatively, follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Go to the FUTO admission status checking portal at https://application.futo.edu.ng/outside/dynamo/5cb580bea8fb4d38042a3344.

2. Supply your JAMB registration number in the required column.

3. Finally, click on the ‘Submit’ button to access your admission status.

NOTE:

Successfully admitted candidates are advised to:

• Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
• Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
• Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
• Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.

Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress, and regularly check the JAMB Admission Status site and the University website for their admission status.

You can also follow the procedure outline below to check your FUTO admission status on the JAMB portal:

1. Go to the JAMB E-Facility portal at jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your FUTO admission status.

FUTO Acceptance Fee Payment Guidelines

After viewing your admission notification slip, follow the following steps below.

1. Update O’ level verification details by clicking on the green link.

2. Enter your O’ level details as required and submit.

Account Verification

1. Proceed to sign up and verify your portal account
2. Select the required fields and enter a functional email address
3. Submit your details. An email will be sent to your functional email address.
4. Click on the link sent to your email to activate your account
5. Copy your Username and Password and login into your portal account

Portal Account

1. In your portal account, change your password.
2. Complete your profile.
3. Generate an acceptance invoice.
4. Proceed to any bank for payment or alternatively, pay online with your ATM card.
5. Return to the portal for acceptance receipt.
6. Print admission letter and other particulars.
7. Generate school fee invoice.
8. Proceed to any bank for payment or alternatively, pay online with your ATM card.
9. Return to the portal for school fee receipt.

Ans = The admission list does not have a specific release date, but the news will be everywhere when it is out.
