The Nigerian Army University Biu, Borno State is a conventional University and currently has five faculties. They are as follows: Faculty of Engineering Technology, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, and Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Science.

- Applicant must be a holder of Ph.D in relevant field with at least 2 years as Lecturer II plus sufficient number, (5 at least) of scholarly publications in a reputable journals and 2 edited conference proceedings;
Or - A holder of Master’s degree who have been a Lecturer II with at least 3 years University teaching experience and with at least 5 scholarly publications in a reputable journal and 3 edited conference proceedings.
