The Booth University College is a private, Christian, liberal arts college located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The college was established in 1982 and is rooted in The Salvation Army. The college was established as a “Bible college” and in 1997 came to be known as William and Catherine Booth University College.

If you receive a letter of acceptance from Booth University College, you will be required to make a $500 CDN offer deposit within one month and a $9000 CDN International student deposit by August 1st, if you are applying for the fall term, or December 1st, if you are applying for the winter term.

Apply for residence. Interested in living on campus? Contact our Student Services Coordinator for information and application. International students (outside the USA) must pay a non-refundable application fee of $150. See payment information for international students below.
- Arrange for official transcripts
Arrange for all of your official transcripts to be sent to Booth University College’s Admissions Office, including high school and all college or university records.
Transcripts should be delivered unopened or sent directly from the issuing school to our Admissions Office.
- Accept the offer of admission with a tuition deposit
When you’re offered admission to Booth University College, a letter of acceptance will be mailed to you. To confirm your acceptance, a non-refundable $200 tuition deposit will be required.
Accept your admissions offer by contacting Booth University College’s Registrar’s office to pay your tuition deposit.

Scholarships for Returning Or Transfer Students
Business Innovation Scholarship – $4,000
Returning Booth UC Business Administration degree students are invited to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to the student who can demonstrate an innovative business idea. The application deadline is March 31st.
2 + 2 Business Scholarship – $2,000
This $2,000 Scholarship is for a Red River College Business Diploma Graduate, who is new newly enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has demonstrated a commitment to social entrepreneurship and is applying business knowledge to building a better world. The application deadline is March 31st.
Transfer Student Scholarship– $250/3 credit hour course
This scholarship is for a transfer student who has demonstrated socially conscious leadership in their community. The application deadline is March 31st.
Scholarships for Salvationist students
New – Canada and Bermuda Territory Salvationist Award
Beginning fall 2025, new, qualified Canada and Bermuda Territory Salvationist students will receive a 50% reduction in tuition as an award, as well as a $2000/year residence award for their 1st year of study at Booth UC. Students may study at the Winnipeg campus, or virtually. Cannot be combined with the Entrance Scholarship for high school students.
This award is renewable for qualified students, for their 2nd year.
The Salvationist Tuition Scholarship and Salvationist Residence Award will be available for the 3rd and 4th year of study at Booth UC.
Qualifications include:
- A Salvationist in good standing from the Canada and Bermuda Territory. A Corps Officer recommendation letter is required. Go to the Corps Officer Recommendation form.
- A 70% or higher high school graduation average (or B-, CGPA 2.7 average for transfer students).
- Must maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher for the second year of the award and receive a Corps Officer recommendation from a Winnipeg Corps Officer (if studying on the Winnipeg campus).
- Must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours per term.
International Students (outside the USA)
International applicants must follow these additional steps in the application process.
