This is to inform the general public that the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri Degree (UTME and Direct Entry) admission lists are out.
Admission lists are the names of successfully admitted applicants offered provisional admission into an institution.
Admission lists are usually released by institutions after the conduct of admission screening exercise, it comes in different batches; 1st Batch is (Merit List) followed by 2nd, 3rd and other Batches.

The Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri now Alvan Ikoku University of Education is located in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, Nigeria.
It was established in April 1963 as the Advanced Teachers Training College by the defunct Eastern Nigeria Government on the grounds of the Old Shell Camp, Owerri.
AIFCE awards the National Certificate in Education (NCE) and the Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) and, in affiliation, with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka prepares for the Bachelor of Education (B.ed) since 1984.

Procedure to Check AIFCE Admission List
The lists are available on the NOTICE BOARD within the school premises. Prospective candidates can also follow the procedure below to check online using the school website:
1. Go to Alvan Ikoku College of Education admission status checking portal at https://app.alvanikoku.edu.ng/verify
2. Supply your JAMB registration number in the required column.
3. Finally, click on the ‘Continue’ button to access your admission status.
Candidates successfully admitted are advised to:
- Login to JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and accept or reject their admission.
- Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
- Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
- Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.
Candidates not yet admitted should note that admission is in progress, and regularly check the JAMB site and the University website for their admission status.

Check via JAMB Portal
Prospective students can also access their AIFCE admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:
- Go to the JAMB E-Facility portal at jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.
- Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
- Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
- Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your MOUAU admission status.
Instructions to Admitted Students
Successful candidates should take the following steps for their registration process;
1. Log onto www.alvanikoku.edu.ng and click on Student Portal to generate their Acceptance Fee Invoice. Proceed with your invoice to Alvan Microfinance Bank to make your payment. Pay the Acceptance Fee with your IPR invoice.
2. Return to the College ICT Centre with your payment receipt to print the Admission Screening Documents. Proceed to the College Admissions Unit with originals of the following:
- O’Levels
- Birth Certificate
- LGA Identification
- JAMB Result Slip
- Acknowledgement Slip
- Passport Photograph
- Evidence of Payment of Acceptance Fee.
NB: All printed screening documents. Open your files with the screening officers.
