CU Login Portal: Covenant University opened on 21 October 2002 in Canaanland, Ota, with a Pentecostal Christian mission ethos. It was founded by David Oyedepo, the presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, who is the Chancellor of the university.

Covenant University aims to provide prospective students with as much information as possible about its undergraduate programmes, the application and admissions processes.  Covenant University is a part of the Liberation Commission that God gave to the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Bishop David Oyedepo, (Ph.D.) some years ago.

Covenant University academic programmes run in four colleges: the College of Business and Social Sciences (CBSS), the College of Leadership Development Studies (CLDS), the College of Engineering (COE), and the College of Science and Technology (CST). The appropriate forms of intent to establish a private university was submitted to the National Universities Commission (NUC) in March 2000 and by July 15th, 2001, the verification team of the National Universities Commission came for the inspection of facilities and programmes.

On 12th February 2002, the Federal Government officially presented the certificate, which granted Covenant University the license to operate as a private University in Nigeria.

Prospective students of Covenant University are to obtain the JAMB Forms, choose Covenant University, and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Board as prescribed in the relevant advertisement for the 2025/2026 admission exercise.

Covenant University Post UTME Eligibility

Covenant University Admission Application Fee

• The application form fee for the 2025/2026 academic year is N7,000 (Seven Thousand Naira Only), and it is non-refundable.
• Post-UTME Screening fee is N2,000 (Two thousand Naira only).  Transaction charges apply – N600 (Six Hundred Naira Only) for bank / over the counter transaction.
• Payment can be made at these authorized banks – Access, Zenith, UBA, GTB, Stanbic, Keystone, CMFB, etc. You are required to walk into the bank, provide the applicant’s name, make a payment, and receive the PIN and RECEIPT NUMBER to be inputted on the form.
• The application form can be saved with a view of completion at a later date. An application cannot be submitted if the application fee is not paid at the end of the form.

Covenant University General Requirements for Admission

The minimum entry requirements for admission into Covenant University are credit level passes in five (5) subjects at the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

The subjects passed must include English Language and Mathematics. Candidates are also to note that there are other requirements that may be specific to a College and/or a Department.

Covenant University School Fees
